Hamburg

Despite inclement weather, we managed to nearly walk the soles off our shoes discovering wonderful old and new architecture.  The day was capped off visiting St Nikolai memorial and museum.  WWII at it's most heart wrenching for both sides!

The St Nikolai Memorial Hamburg's central place of remembrance for the victims of war and tyranny of 1933-1945.  The former main church of St. Nicholas was destroyed during the air raids on Hamburg 1943
