Gibraltar

We are in Gibraltar and our next stop is Morocco. Gibraltar wasn't on the bucket list but pleased we are here! 😊

We've had the most amazing weather here today and another different experience. We crossed the border of Spain to Gibraltar by foot, where our NZ passports were casually flashed to the police through customs before entering Gibraltar.  Access to the city is by crossing the entire Gibraltar Airport runway by either foot, motorized vehicle or bicycle.!!!! We were about to cross th
e runway by foot when a barrier came down and spikes laid out on the road/Tarmac/path to let the aircraft take off.  Once all clear, the barrier was lifted and we walked into town across the runway with vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.  Very surreal, can't say we have experienced that one before!  We have seen monkeys, tunnels, lighthouse, many cannons, super yachts, ships, magnificent views, North Africa and Spain all from this quirky country.

The Rock and my rock!
